September 9, 2019 - District Court of Appeal Rules in Favor of Client on Appeal

September 9, 2019, the Florida First District Court of Appeal ruled in favor of client, K.H., in a published opinion which upheld our client's family law award of one half of the ex-husband's employee stock ownership plan, a $300,000 plan, and upholding our client's award of 100% of the marital home. The District Court of Appeal also upheld the lower court's order in favor or our client freezing the ex-husband's interest in his employee stock ownership to allow our client an opportunity to pursue further action against those assets. This was a civil, family law appeal, not our ordinary practice, but a matter we took on as a special request.
