June 14, 2023 – Mr. McFarland’s motion to recuse judge granted

June 14, 2023 – Mr. McFarland’s motion to recuse a judge in Jacksonville was granted based on the court’s inappropriate involvement in plea negotiations and inappropriate remarks attacking counsel. This ultimately resulted in a time served sentence instead of incarceration.
