July 28, 2022 – Mr. McFarland’s client resentenced from life to nearly time served

July 28, 2022 – Mr. McFarland’s client was resentenced in Jacksonville from life to 42 years on a 1994 case based on newly discovered evidence. This new sentence will result in a release date in 2024 because of 1990s gain time rules.
