July 16, 2019 - Federal Magistrate Recommends Motion to Suppress be Granted

July 16, 2019, United States Federal Magistrate Judge James Klindt issued a 53 page Report and Recommendation recommending that the dispositive motion to suppress filed and litigated by Mr. Kent and Mr. McFarland on behalf of client Donjuan Powell, be granted. If the report and recommendation is accepted by the District Judge, it will result in the federal firearm charges brought against Mr. Powell being dismissed. A copy of the report can be found here.
